YOKOHAMA, Japan – From September 13-16, 2025, the international intellectual property community convened at the Pacifico Yokohama to attend the prestigious AIPPI World Intellectual Property Congress. Organized by the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, this year's gathering attracted thousands of IP professionals, scholars, and industry leaders from over 90 countries, examining the critical theme: "Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on the Function and Enforceability of Intellectual Property Rights."

Marking its second consecutive year as a key exhibitor, Cheng & Peng Intellectual Property Law Office fielded a six-member delegation comprising four equity partners.
At Booth #28, the team engaged with clients, peers, and foreign associates from multiple jurisdictions, conducting substantive dialogues on emerging AI-related IP challenges, cross-border protection strategies, and practical case studies, and sharing valuable insights from Chinese practice.

Established in 2013, Cheng & Peng has consistently maintained its focus on high-end IP services, with particular expertise in international operations and complex IP matters. Through its active participation, the firm not only demonstrated its capability in handling cross-border IP issues in the AI era and contributed to discussions on future innovations in IP systems, while strengthening relationships with international partners.

Cheng & Peng extends its sincere appreciation to all visitors and colleagues who joined the conversations at their booth, and looks forward to continued collaboration in advancing innovation and cooperation within the global IP community.
